The sector gathered in Verona to enter into a dialogue with bodies and institutions on funding, research and innovation

With a turnover of 11 billion of euros, 5 of which achieved abroad, the biomedical sector is characterized by a strong need for innovation, also supported by the European Union with Horizon 2020 programs. This is one of the key issue of the new Innovabiomed Fair, which was held in Verona on January 23 and 24.

A sector that requires valid and transversal skills, whose catchment area is largely represented by the National Health System, the biomedical industry claims an unsatisfactory cooperation between companies involved in research on one hand, and physicians and researchers in the field on the other.

Innovabiomed devoted space and time to the confrontation between several sector operators, creating opportunities for meetings, sharing and business, including welcoming foreign delegations from Europe and the Far East.
