The results of the last quarter of 2017 and the forecasts up to 2020 confirm significant margins of growth for the sector on foreign markets
At the end of 2017, the export volumes of Medical Devices produced in Italy reached unprecedented levels (over more than € 10 billion in the last decade), and the forecasts confirm the growth trend.
According to a study carried out by StudiaBo, Italian manufacturers may further increase sales volumes, both by enhancing access to already visited countries, such as France, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, and, secondly, Great Britain, and approaching new distant and extremely attractive markets such as USA, Canada, Japan and China.
The study is based on the interpolation of several indicators, including some demographic and specific data related to industrial production and market characteristics.
