Since Switzerland is considered a Third Country by the EU, its registration database is denied. Swiss REP and Importer in Switzerland need to register directly on Swissmedic<\/strong> and to obtain Swiss single identification number which is the Swiss Single Registration Number (CHRN).<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The Swiss Single Registration Number (CHRN) is a single identification number given from Swissmedic to Manufacturers, Representatives, and Swiss Importers which shall not be confused with the Single Registration Number (SRN) used for Eudamed registration by Economics Operators in the EU.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

CHRN allows to unequivocally identify a manufacturer, a representative or an importer. This number is used as a code, in absence of EUDAMED database access, to notify severe adverse events and security reports.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
