Deadlines for UDI (Unique Device Identifier) affixing change depending on Medical Devices risk classes. With regards to UDI affixing<\/strong>, Medical Devices Ordinance (MedDO) Article 104 establishes the following deadlines:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

    \r\n
  1. From May 26, 2021,<\/strong> for implantable devices and Class III devices.<\/li>\r\n
  2. From May 26, 2023,<\/strong> for class IIa and IIb devices.<\/li>\r\n
  3. From May 26, 2025<\/strong>, for Class I devices.<\/li>\r\n
  4. 2 years after the above-mentioned dates (letters a-c) for the corresponding class devices for re-usable devices subjected to direct marking (affixing on the device itself).<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
