Which medical devices are classified as electronic products that emit radiation?

If a product contains an electronic circuit and generates any type of radiation, it is classified as an electronic product emitting radiation. Medical devices also classified as radiation-emitting products (e.g. X-ray, laser, ultrasound, infrared, ultraviolet) must comply with both the medical device regulations and the electronic product regulations included in 21 CFR 1000 – 1050, Subchapter J.
