Resolution No. 967 and Resolution No. 968 have recently entered into force in order to further restrict participation to public contracts for foreign manufacturers, with particular reference to manufacturers of Medical Devices containing Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC).

Specifically, on the basis of the first Resolution (Resolution No. 967), foreign manufacturers of Medical Devices containing PVC who intend to market their products in Russia must comply with the requirements of specific organizations accredited by the competent Regulatory Authority.

Resolution No. 968 allows to consult the list of 86 different types of Medical Devices for which access to Russian public contracts is limited. Among these: heart-lung machines, urine bags and blood storage devices.
